America Chavez was zooming across the sky when her phone rang. She knew who it was even before she picked up: Her best friend, Kate Bishop. Kate had always been the smarter and more responsible of the two, so it made sense that she was the one to make contact. America had simply departed as soon as she got her alert, trusting that her friend would follow suit. As ever, America’s trust in Kate had not been misplaced.
